This is just a short note about what you should keep secret about the information we store here and security in general.
The information that you must keep as secret as possible is:
- Your PTN card number.
- Your password
- Your ticket numbers
If you use paper tickets then it is a good idea to keep the ticket numbers and the printed tickets somewhat private, because it is not very hard to make a fake paper ticket and someone might be tempted to copy yours.
If someone copies your tickets then they will be caught, because once a ticket has been used we register this in the database so that same ticket number can not be used again, if you arrive first the thief will not be let in and if the thief arrives first you will discover the problem when your ticket is already used and we can investigate the problem and hopefully find the thief, so we can let you in.
Do not rely on the information on a piece of paper to know if you have a ticket, the only way to check if you have a ticket is to log in and go to your personal tickets page.
